I think you are underestimating the level of chaos and violence we are headed for. This is going to be much worse than Rome. We will be the barbarians at our own gates.

I would die in glorious battle to protect any of my neighbors from the fate the gov has planned. I wouldn’t think twice about it. If they roll up on me or someone near me, it will be the last day of multiple people’s lives, mine mostly likely.

Then let’s start this hot war. Waiting for the other side to shoot first rarely is the best option and waiting for them to dig in their heels more, seems like a bad idea.

It would be harder to find people willing to kidnap people off the streets if it becomes common to just shoot them on sight.
