Scary given that areas of florida are apparently farther down and they sit on pourous rock at low altitude and then austin shows up for wildfire risk but not anywhere in california. wow.

Unfortunately I think only mbin has integration with mastadon and last I knew the user feeds were separate from the main feed so sorta outasight outamind. Granted though I thought mastodon was the largest fediverse thing. Anyway this is why im not active with any mastodon myself but I hope it becomes more integrated.
wow. an inch every four years about and the rate is still rising. So a foot in 48 years which might sound long but its no longer oh that is beyond my lifetime type of thing.
The recipes are simple. Just boil until tough.
The cleaning was common back then. Every store took back the tall glass bottles of soda and in modern times oberweiss brought that back with milk. The glass melting is nice just as a final option really.
So the key thing here with placebo is its a mental effect. It effects things you could otherwise effect with your mind. You can’t kill viruses in this manner. Adding to this if you testing for a communicable disease the placebo group that is given something 100% inneffective in fighting the virus/microbe is problematic as it may lead to “risky” behavior. This is why generally you have the population you test on and you use the general population as the control group to compare against. I will give you that placebo in that circumstance might cause people to list symptoms as less severe but its just not worth it.
ooh nice. you know I have seen many articles on there and they talk about just needing any old plug but I just could not see it. Sounds like it is a real possibility.
I thought you could not send power into the grid without a setup to shutdown in case someone is working on the grid or something like that.
Its amazing now a days. I still have a windows machine because im to lazy about moving over a small use case. I can’t believe how much better my browsers which is like 90% of my usage and other programs run in linux and its hard to even pinpoint but some ways the programs react feel better but I can’t put my finger on exactly what it is.
Increasing dopamine is totally pain relief. Its one way the body does it. Both blood pressure and dopamine levels can be effected by visualization and meditation. It is nothing like actually effecting a disease progression. I mean it could cause people to not feel as bad while having the disease but nothing in terms of fighting the actual disease.
It did not cure the disease thats pain relief.
I still don’t understand these. Like I would think you need a batter system that could handle the grid to begin with.
Maybe if the disease is completely subjective, but give me an example of a disease that does actual cell damage.
I jump for situations where the glass is taken back for wash and reuse. Its the most sensible thing. I swear I had heard about restaurants doing this with containers but I never actually encountered one. So they had perm togo containers they took back and washed.
Placebo is something to think about but has no place in a vaccine trial for an active contagion. People are injected and not told if its the vaccine or just saline. The placebo effect is minimal in anything non subjective. So with a painkiller yeah ok, but with a vaccine. Nope.
you know I generally do not like pvp but I would not mind something like shadowbane resurfacing. With the city building and minimal rewarding of pvp it was not bad despite the fact that once you left the gates of one of the three safe npc cities you had snipers galore. Yeah most player cities were dicks but there was a few guilds that actually tried to make something for people to visit (of course then they got player griefers coming in to)
Being an old man this really gets me. I love the internet and the way computers today but there is a whole lot that worked fine before plastics were so common. Almost nothing in the grocery store had plastic and everything was pretty much as convenient as nowadays. Sure you had to pay a deposit on the glass bottles but you got it back when you returned them.
Would be more enthused if it said something about the profits going to his go fund me.
It annoys me a bit that the local news seemed to cover this a bit better than the other ones and I feel because its mayday. They are like this is the largest mayday since such and such a time but its like hey you know all those other ones were just as large downtown. My local channel has been covering it but like just a blip at one news point before mayday. At least with this one the blurb continued from the afternoon to evening to morning blocks which should have been the case with the others. Should really have a blurb at the weekend ones to since to me those should sum up the week a bit.
yeah and we are about half a foot as it stands so within 20 years should be there if not sooner. We already see so many effects were we are at now.
