Have you turned on fox news? They’re not waiting for shit. They’re bastardizing innocent people just living their lives.

They are constantly lying to their supporters, claiming that any and all logical and loving opposition to them is outright treason.

Peaceful protestors are terrorists, lawyers and judges are criminals, doctors are murderers.

They aren’t waiting for you to fight back. They are bringing the fight to you.

The harder non-religious people fight back, the more the government will be validated in its assertion of religious oppression.

The government will validate itself however it wants. This isn’t about religion, it’s about fear, and hatred. They have no goals other than power. They can only hold power as long as they can inspire fear and spread hatred, and so their supporters have been twisted to fear the helpless and hate the innocent.

They will not listen to your logic. If they would, we would not be here. They will not recognize your love. If they could, we would not be here.

This will not stop unless they are made to stop.

We need to move people. Millions of people will not march for love. I am all for non-violent resistance, but non-violent doesn’t mean calm.

But it doesn’t change a thing about addiction. Wealth does not prevent addiction. Access to rehab does not prevent addiction. Wealthy addicts aren’t any more or less moral failures than their impoverished counterparts.

Wealthy addict hypocrites are moral failures and worthy of ridicule. But perpetuating the falsehood that addiction itself is a moral failing - that the only reason a wealthy person becomes an addict is because they are weak - that has just as much impact on the impoverished as it has on the wealthy.

When you claim that poverty is the only moral justification for addiction, you directly hurt the impoverished addict - you limit the nature of their addiction to nothing more than a product of their environment. If they just had money, they wouldn’t be an addict. That is wrong.

Firstly, mental health is not a poor problem, it’s an everyone problem.

More importantly, addiction is fucked. Wealth does not protect you. “A good life” does not save you. A loving family, a dog, a white picket fence… they don’t stop you.

There are a billion very valid reasons to criticize this fuckup, and he is absolutely a hypocritical piece of shit for ruining the lives of other addicts. But addiction can fuck up anyone, and it’s not entirely their fault. Please don’t paint addiction as nothing more than a moral failing and a symptom of poverty.

Daily reminder not to feed into bullshit talking points about fentanyl from the borders. Nothing this administration does is about fentanyl, fentanyl is just the new marijuana or crack - a justification for exploitation and abuse. For blaming minorities and foreigners.

Don’t get me wrong - fentanyl is fucked. There is a real crisis out there.

Agreed. Super convenient fast travel takes something away from the game. It turns an adventure into a handful of loading screens, which is egregious in Starfield because “travel through space” boiled down to “here’s 4 more loading screens every single time you want to do anything.”

They profit immensely off of other people’s work without lifting a finger but also try to exploit those same creators for even more profit at every possible opportunity. He’s getting burned, if only as a distraction from the fact that there were a whole bunch of other high-level executive and defense staff in those chats that A) never should have agreed to use self-deleting Signal messages, and B) should have noticed an unauthorized recipient in the chat and shut the whole thing down immediately.

The fuckup in chief doesn’t have allies, he has handlers, stooges, and scapegoats, and they’re all too fucking stupid to realize that the only thing separating the stooge and handler from the scapegoat is a matter of time. There’s nothing fascists love more than ruling from a position of fear.

Oh absolutely. Perhaps “necessarily” isn’t the right word. But the point is that even if you were somehow perfectly neutral (or worse, supportive) toward this horrifying shift in geopolitics, you still wouldn’t want to invest in the US dollar.

Oblivion’s system took time to break down - long enough to actually get players invested, at least.
