How is that an obvious databreach? It was just bot spam, something every single public site has had issues with.

Its in alpha so I’d expect it to be buggy for a while. Performance for me is pretty much the same as it was a few months ago, but I never had any issues.

Its a competitive shooter/moba, basically none of the game would remain if it was transitioned into a PvE game.

There arent AI bots sprinkled in, there’s just troopers and jungle camps, which either dont move or walk in a straight line down their lane. They aren’t meant to be a challenge, theyre just tools for gaining souls and creating map pressure.

PvP is only rage inducing when you let it be. Mute whiny people and just enjoy yourself.

The most important parts are at the end of the CPU and GPU performance sections. They performed the same across all desktops. On most modern systems the desktop you use is not going to have any significant impact on your performance, when software you’re running requires resources, they will be directed towards it.

Also, low RAM usage is massively overrated, especially by Linux users. Your RAM is there to be used, leaving it unused is a waste. It is good for your desktop to be caching a lot of data in RAM when it is otherwise unused. It’s only an issue if its still utilizing an excessive amount of RAM when other apps need it more.

That comment about their security updates is a couple of months old. Zen has made significant changes to how they handle releases to stay up to date with Firefox, some of which were mentioned in the thread.

The Nix package is functional. Nixpkgs sometimes chooses not to add beta software that is receiving very frequent updates, especially if the package takes a lot of resources to build. In those cases, it makes more sense for the package to be maintained outside Nixpkgs for the time being. NixOS users can get Zen from this Flake, which patches the official binary. COSMIC Desktop is another example of this.

Pages not looking sharp sounds like it’s probably a font or scaling issue.
