  • If the voters are well informed about how their ranked-choice ballot works, then its the most ideal.

Otherwise, you could end up with idiots voting for their favorite, but not filling out the 2nd, 3rd, 4th choices, which ends up wasting a vote if their favorite gets eliminated. Of course, that would be a worse case scenario, I hope the average person is functional enough to know how to do a simple task like filling out a ballot, but honestly, the average person is so stupid (or just lazy) that I don’t have such high hopes.

If the most important goal is just to elminate the spoiler effect of FPTP, using a 2 round system is the more “idiot-proof” method to do so, in my opinion. I mean, the first round is effectively just a primary election that has been practiced for a long time, just without parties this time.

  • Simple. Manual reassigns are very unusual and that all being done by one employee (like an actual employee of Doordash that works on the digital platforn, not a driver), and they all are assigned to a small group of drivers. That would look very obvious if someone looked at the logs.

All they need is one confession from any of the driver, or the employee involved in this scheme, then the whole thing unravels.

Also, I’m under the impression that they stole customer accounts to make those orders. Customers would’ve reported that fraudulent purchases were made.

  • In the US, its a common thing.

Before, it’s actually just X GB data, you run out, you have nothing.

Then later it became “Unlimited, X GB of 4G/5G Data*” with a huge asterisk

    Then in the fine print:

*After X GB is exceeded, speeds is reduced to 128 KB/s

Which is just a fancy way of saying: X GB Real data, after that we’re just trolling you with the unusable slow as molasses “data” and trying to get you to buy more data.

This is because these are the older, cheap plans. Like these plans could be anywhere from $15 to $30, per month. The real unlimited plans are not gonna be cheap.

Right now, I pay like $60 /month to have unlimited data + unlimited hotspot at reasonable speeds (like 15-25 Mbits up/down if its not congested) I do have wifi at home, but that’s a family network that don’t trust (long story, but I have trust issues with family)
