wow, thank you for teaching me something new today. now you’ve got me thinking why i made that assumption with so much confidence. the first think i think of is the terracotta army - they’re about 2200 years old. i hear the “5000 years old” number thrown around a lot when talking about the great pyramid. i’ve seen some stuff that i thought was really cool about possible ancient pyramids in china. but i also wonder how much propaganda snuck in there along the way, too.
e.g., the 5000 years claim is puffery, not supported by evidence. Not hard to learn the truth with 30 seconds of searching.
