Not just looking.
They are hunting to hurt people. Desperately, even.
Have Frozen running in the foreground. I’m half tempted to install Windows on a VM and just have Frozen running on a loop.
Make Disney and Microsoft fight it out in court.
Archive.org retains the website. I want to track the actual data. I haven’t had a moment to inspect the website to see how the data is being pulled.
Any way we could keep a historical record of these businesses? I can foresee them doing a full cleansing of their internet presence as they lose business.
To give a huge benefit of the doubt, we haven’t had fascism times for these school shooters.
If a shooter makes it to arrangement today, I would expect fascism to make an example out of them as well and slap terrorism charges.
The analogy, while clumsy, is still accurate: the rules for us do not apply to the rich and powerful.
For fuck sakes we have a convicted felon as president and at his sentencing the judge said, “Uh, woopsie! Guess the jury was wrong. Go about your life, dear rich citizen.”
I would give it up for him.
“Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.”
Because of the implication that something could go wrong if you didn’t work for them on their boat.
I haven’t checked yet but I spent my evening last night completely rebalancing my 401k and IRA to international stocks and municipal bonds.
If all goes well, my 401k should be executed by now. My IRA I have to do myself but that should be done tomorrow.
This chillingly reminds me of the quote in The Hurt Locker.
“I either defuse the bomb or it’s not my problem anymore.”
If you die, it really isn’t your problem anymore. But if you’re alive, then you have to have food, shelter, and all that annoying stuff.
We need more young people to run in general. They can hire people to handle social media but we need people who are going to be directly impacted by the laws they pass.
I felt like Matrix Resurrections was kind of a circle jerk against itself.
Boss: “Mr. Anderson. We want you to write a game for this old franchise”
Neo: “but it’s dead. Why don’t we make something new, and exciting.”
Boss: “💵”
You’re hurting a large number of those taxpayers by doing this.
That’s the point. They want to hurt people.
Hope you voted to acquit.
Edit: ducking autocorrect.
Back in the old days of Fark, I remember there used to be a flowchart of people’s reactions to mass shootings:
I feel like the right has replaced the second step with whatever out group they are trying to target.
Because he didn’t hit a Tesla.
Not forcing the south to pay for reconstruction and not executing traitors was the worst decision we’ve ever made.
This probably the most plausible explanation. We put antibiotics in just about everything. We’re breeding these super bacteria ourselves.
There are some brave businesses around here that have started posting signs.
“Due to tariffs, we’ve had to raise our prices.”
